Nancy Etchemendy (1952 - ) was born in Nevada, and was educated at the University of Nevada. She was a prolific writer pretty much from the word go “churning out tales of interplanetary adventures instead of doing homework.” Her first book was published when she left college, and she has carried on writing since. She writes science fiction, fantasy and the supernatural. At least one of her books, Stranger from the Stars, has an element of horse.
