Helen Kay

Helen Kay wrote several books for children, of which A Pony for the Winter is the only horse title.  It’s a charming read aimed at the younger reader.

Keeping a pony for the winter is a lot of work, but Deborah doesn’t mind because she loves Mollie.  Mollie
tough is only on loan, and must go back to the Playland Park for the summer.
