Cliff Faulknor
Cliff Faulknor (Chauncey Clifford Vernon Faulknor) was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1913. He has had a varied career, working as a bank clerk, artillery gunner, land inspector and columnist to name just a few. He wrote a national column, and has written 10 books. He now paints rather than writes. One of his books, The Smoke Horse, has proved very popular, achieving two different publications in the UK, a rare feat for a Canadian book. Cliff Faulknor also wrote about Canada’s Mr Rodeo, Herman Linder.
Finding the books : This book is reasonably easy to find in the USA. Neither of the UK printings is particularly common, but they are generally reasonably priced when they do appear.
