Although there is information here and there about many North American (ie American and Canadian) pony book authors, there is no one site which collects together information on the pony book genre, so that is what this section of the website is aiming to do.
I have one obvious and huge disadvantage here: I’m English, and I live in England: and though I’ve read my fair share of American pony books my collection is on the minimal side, as is my knowledge. However, Susan Bourgeau and Fran Fignar have the advantage of living on the right side of the Atlantic, as well as having collections of pony books I can only dream about. They have both been incredibly generous in sharing information and pictures, and this section of the site would be pretty feeble without them, so my thanks to them both.
Initially, I will be concentrating on authors whose books (or some of them at any rate) have been printed in the UK.
