Ruby Ferguson wrote another children’s book, this one not concerned with horses. It is A Paintbox for Pauline, published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1953, and shown to the left. Jill was also published in translation: to the right is Gitte får en pony from 1965. All the Danish translations are now out of print, and are very hard to find.
