Ponydom on Showdown

Bobby Cameron is a cowboy who only cares about raising money to protect the ranch he’s inherited until he meets
English girl Milly, daughter of a Newmarket trainer who is forbidden to race.   He offers Milly the chance of a year at
his ranch, and she accepts desperate for Bobby to see her as a woman.

Tilly Bagshawe is quite a phenomenon:  she went to Cambridge at the age of 18 with her ten month old daughter, and by the age of 26 was the youngest ever partner in a firm of headhunters.  She wrote her first novel, Adored, in 2004, and has since written several other romantic novels, though lately she has started writing sequels to Sidney Sheldon’s oeuvre.

Finding the book:  still in print.
