Victoria Dunn wrote at least one book for Ward Lock’s Cygnet series: adventure books for younger readers. Her Pony for Keeps is about Jeremy, a town boy who comes round to the idea of living in the country. I haven’t been able to find any other books by her under that name, or any biographical information at all. If anyone knows anything about the author, I’d love to hear from you.

“Jeremy hates the thought of going to live in the country with Great Aunt Alice. But he soon finds
more wonderful and exciting things to do than he had ever imagined.”
