Absolutely minimal library evidence: stamp to closed page edges and title page is only evidence I can find. Dj very good indeed; unclipped and clean and bright throughout. Laminated boards very good indeed; endpapers and pages clean and bright.

One of the hardest of her titles to find as a first edition: also one of the last titles illustrated by Anne Bullen. Lovely unclipped dj protected in plastic; missing cut off form on rear flap. Brown boards very good. Remains of library label to fep. Library stamps; pages clean.

Still a difficult one to find as a hardback: JPT’s first solo novel. This has a photocopied dj. Original red boards very good , slightly bumped to spine ends, some fading to top of spine. Some sunning to endpapers. Pages clean save for spotting to closed page block.
