Comic Book Versions

Many thanks to Fiona Williams for sending me these images. I have never come across a comic strip Black Beauty before, and I was intrigued by these, versions of which at least still seem to be in print. From what I see now of what children actually read, I think there's a lot of mileage in a comic strip version.
