This section includes stuff written about pony books, both by me and others. Some of mine have appeared elsewhere before or since (How to Write a Pony Book, in shortened form, was in Horse Magazine; it appeared first in Folly; the article on Josephine Pullein-Thompson’s Noel and Henry series was printed initially in Fidra Books’ printing of Six Ponies; the introduction to Fidra’s printing of Silver Snaffles appeared here first in slightly shortened form). Susanna Forrest’s article appeared originally in The Daily Telegraph. But most of it is exclusive to this site. Anything on the site is the copyright of the author.
